Whenever a customer asks, ‘how much the minimum pixel pitch can achieve for an outdoor special shape led project?’ the same reply is the smallest pixel pitch can reach is P5 in whole led industry at this moment. Due to the limitations of customization and the design of electronic PCB boards, also the complexity and precision of glue-pouring machines, outdoor fine pitch has become a major problem that is difficult to overcome for creative led screens, the case of successful application is even more stayed at P5.
Today, we are greatly proud to announce that HRG team has broke through the first outdoor P3 letter led screen project, which has been successfully installed in Singapore. The customer customized two sets of letters ‘VIDI’ of different size, with a screen area of 26 square meters and 22 sets of special-shaped led modules. From the date of receiving the customer's advance payment, we HRG team took only one month to successfully deliver the products from our factory.
The outdoor application environment requires that the production of led display needs a rigorous process. This project adopts a single-module waterproof solution， the power supply and receiving card are installed in a separate waterproof box, using waterproof aviation connector plugs, all accessories can be independently waterproof, and the ingress protection for led display can up to IP65.
The choice of led encapsulation is SMD1921 makes screen’s brightness over 5000nits, which fully meets the outdoor brightness requirements.
